Most overrated place in Kerala, all because of this beautiful film called Ordinary. Its a single road, one-way from Ranni which goes via Gavi to Vandiperiyar. On the way there are 5 water dams and power stations associated with it and I guess thats the only reason a road was constructed in the middle of this forest. But sad to say, other than the experience of a driving through a deserted, not-so-good road through the forest, there is nothing else to see. Even for a drive, bandipur forest is much better.
