Not much action this year. After a long gap I went for a morning bike ride to Kumbalangi with photography in mind. This place became famous after the classic movie Kumbalangi Nights. The village and the backwaters were brilliantly captured in the movie. I enjoyed riding through the narrow roads and get a glimpse of the people’s life there. Some areas are so low that we could see many houses situated just a feet above the water level. Much like Kuttanad.

On the way back, I decided to drive towards Chellanam beach. It was really worth a visit. The long sea wall extended into the Arabian sea makes the beach different and an attractive place for fishing.
