Two weeks back I went on a thrilling 3-day bike trip to Munnar, exploring some of the remote places I had never seen before. To avoid the weekend crowd, I began my journey on a Sunday morning from Cochin. Instead of taking the common route, I took a deviation at Kothamangalam, heading towards Mamalakandam. It… Read More Exploring Munnar
Not much action this year. After a long gap I went for a morning bike ride to Kumbalangi with photography in mind. This place became famous after the classic movie Kumbalangi Nights. The village and the backwaters were brilliantly captured in the movie. I enjoyed riding through the narrow roads and get a glimpse of… Read More Kumbalangi
This time Thulavarhsam or NorthEast monsoon was heavier than usual in Kerala. While there were severe damages & casualties at many places, I was fortunate again to witness another safe “vella pokkam” (flood). For the first time I drove around Pala during the flood and experienced the unusual water level at my usual destinations. Here… Read More Thulavarsham

It is at a very remote place and the last 1KM road is very narrow that hardly a… Read More St.Thomas Mount
Found another beautiful Rubber plantation on an evening ride. Have you seen an old one? This is near Poovarany, Pala. The plastic cover is to protect rubber latex from rain water.
Did a solo bike ride to Munnar, clocking 400KMs overall. The road is in very good condition from Adimali except few broken patches. I did not stop at the town and drove directly towards Marayoor side, crossing Kannan Devan hills. It is a scenic route with greenery all over the place. Evening I drove towards… Read More Munnar
On a morning ride I found this beautiful view about 10km from my house. Its west facing, so I planned to go again on an evening to see the sunset & I got the second photo. Guess the coconut tree in this picture!
See the route map below, I drew a 200 km long Heart at the Heart of Kerala in my bike. First headed towards Idukki from Pala. Stopped at Nadukani view point to see the breathtaking view of Moolamattom town. From the view point you can see the town as a valley between two mountains. The… Read More Idukki
